Sofia Vergara

Sofia Vergara Margarita was born July 10, 1972 in Barankville, Atlántico, Colombia.Her mother - a housewife and father - working the meat industry, engaged in cattle. For Sophia nickname stuck "La Toti", which gave her five of her brothers and sisters and many cousins, including television presenter and reporter Carlos Vergara, who currently works for WTVJ channel in Miami, Florida.

Sofia grew up in his home town Barankville and was raised in a wealthy family. She visited frequently bilingual, Spanish-English, school. Vergara, a photographer noticed when she walked on the Colombian coast. Soon it rained attractive offers to work in modelling and television - and she decided to stay the course. First, being brought up, for the most part, in the spirit of conservatism and religious canons, the work of Sofia slightly suppressed it. In one article the magazine "Maxim" for 2002, Vergara was described as a person who is "afraid to take the first television commercials until her Catholic schoolteachers will not give her permission to do this job." 

Her first public performance took place in the 17 years of age - in advertising, "Pepsi", the show which covered all of Latin America. In order to support her son, mother and younger siblings, who desperately needed her financial support, she decided to quit college - and start earning good money. Vergara moved to Bogotá in 20 years, where she worked as a model on the runways and television. 

 From 1995 to 1999. She and Fernado Fiore became a leading "Fuera de Serie", the series, in which she was to visit exotic places around the world. Show itself took place on the international Spanish-language television network Univision, which made a star Sophia Latin American market and has attracted the attention of American audiences. 

She also became one of the leading show network Univision "I Dare You" and as a guest star appeared on the show HBO "Setting." In addition to modeling work on the catwalks and shooting for catalogs, Vergara has participated in several independent projects. She agreed to star in a photo shoot pictures which were on the poster - in a swimsuit calendar girls 1998, 2000 and 2002. Calendars are the best targets sales in Latin America, and even penetrated the North American market.

Sofia has appeared in a South American television commercials, and began to pose in a bathing suit for a poster advertising beer. Sofia has appeared in such series as "Acapulco, body and soul," "My wife and children," and "Eve" and also starred in the movie "Big trouble," "Chasing Papi," "24th Day" "Lords of Dogtown," "Blood for Blood", "Grilled," "Blonde in chocolate," in Tyler Perry's comedy "Introducing the Browns" and "Medeya goes to jail." Height 1.70 m Sophia (5 feet 7 inches), it is blonde, but for movies and television often its color in the brunette, if required by the conditions under which it must be as much as possible like a Latina. Currently, she starred in the TV series "American family".

Have Faith Swimwear turns up the heat at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim

One of the final swim shows I attended on Monday night featured Have Faith Swimwear. In 2010, Designer Jennifer Stano launched Have Faith Swimwear along with her husband Alki David in Beverly Hills, California. After checking out their sexy designs on the runway, I can see why they're making major waves in the swimwear industry. The line has been a huge hit with celebrities such as Miranda Kerr, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Giuliana Rancic who are all fans of this luxurious brand. During Monday's show, guests caught a quick glimpse of music artist Ne-Yo, who conveniently came in at the start of the Have Faith show. He sat front row listening to his own music on the runway, as designer Jennifer Stano walked out in her own jewel-toned bikini design alongside model Rachel Bernstein. Cheetah Girl Adrienne Bailon was also spotted amongst the crowd and on the runway. My favorite look from the show was this flashy rockstar bikini [pictured on the left] worn with a pair of knee high black studded boots. Although I probably wouldn't wear that to the beach, I might get away with this look at a really chic pool party in Miami!
